Whole Class Graphing
(blurry picture, but I will write the graphing question on the dry erase plate and label the columns. Students will put a magnet on the one of their choice and then we will count and compare.

This will tie in nicely with my morning messages. Most have a graphable question for each day.
Behind my kidney table (my hubby hung the Wal-Mart oil pan for me, I'm disappointed that it won't dry erase like a cookie sheet, but it is magnetic)

And now the freebies:
I'm trying achievement badges this year to take the place of prizes. When a student gets to wear one, they will wear it all day and even get to wear it home. I hope they all come back, but if not all I have to do is reprint and grab some yarn.

We repainted the bathrooms and needed a new sign to indicate boys and girls.
Just click on the picture to download these free from my store if you need new bathroom signs!
It is a relief to have this part done! Now onto planning and getting activities together for my kinders!
Leave a comment with your link if you have classroom pictures up already. I'd love to check them out!

My Room is Ready!, Donors Choose & *FREEBIE*

My classroom is finally DONE!! YAY!! I moved classrooms this year, again. I finally have everything ready to go!
This is the back of my cubbies. I have them set up for stations.

My reading corner.

My "Bravo" board to hang up awesome work.
Board for station groups and schedule.

Our meeting area. Love my purple rocking chair. So thankful my hubby painted it for me. It was a very dark green that didn't match anything.

More stations.

Computers and listening center.

My teaching table with my stuff behind it.
One of my 3 doors...these owls will have my kiddo's picutres on them after the first day.

How we go home and behavior chart from Really Good Stuff
View from the door.

I  had to make a hallway in my room so students from the room beside me can easily go through my room to get to the bathroom and main building without distracting my little ones. I can just see a wild child running through during an evalution.Since taking the picutres I have acquired a chalkboard and purchased a fishtank it's the kind with a black light in it for GloFish. I'm pretty excited about it! :)

Have you ever used Donors Choose??? I have posted 2 projects to get a kidney table and an easel for my classroom. **Fingers crossed** I hope they will get funded!!

And now for the *FREEBIE*! I love freebies! I found some great word work ideas while blog stalking and decided I needed some mats for them. The pictures are what I have made from the word work ideas.

And here is the freebie with directions for the games at my TPT store.

If you choose to download it, please leave feedback! I hope you all can use it with your word work activities!!

Awesomely Cute "Chairs"

Over Spring Break, I decided to trade my chairs that are at my reading table in for something better. :) I found these over on Danielle's Blog One and Wonder:

So, even though I can't cut material very straight or sew a straight line, I gave it a try.
Here is the material I got from Hobby Lobby - I think I could spend days in that store :)

Now here is the final product-

They aren't perfect and my crates don't match, but they will be perfect for my little ones. I can't wait for them to come in Monday and see them. And I'm pretty exctied about the storage I can use them for!
